Palm has developed a type of paper especially for heatset Offset to close the gap between the improved newsprint paper and the SC-B types of paper.
The uncoated magazine paper, Palm Top 68, excels with its high smoothness and high specific volume. Thus, it is especially suitable for magazines, inserts and supplements as well as for catalogues.
The benefits for the print run are its excellent running properties and a good printability of the full tones and the half tones.
Palm Top may be produced with a reel width up to 366cm and a diameter of 150cm max. The current grammage range comprises 45gsm, 48.8gsm and 52gsm.
